Some shops may be intimidated by doing a government mandated out of province inspection on a classic car. After all, passing a car with no seatbelts can be a peculiar act to most shops. However, here at Lakeview Automotive we understand the rule book very well and continue to do classic car out of province inspections regularly.

Each motor vehicle from outside of Alberta must pass an Alberta Out of Province Vehicle Inspection before a license plate can be issued. It is a basic safety and mechanical evaluation that must be executed by a certified journeyman technician with a license from Alberta Transportation's Vehicle Inspection Program. Our experienced team of mechanics will be able to get this process done efficiently (This process typically takes about two hours to complete) and exceeds the expectations of Alberta Transportation.
